Thanks to Operation Go Quickly Vice-President Kurt Chappell’s donation of $120, Operation Go Quickly is providing 6 truckloads of pure drinking water to the 900 prisoners in Cap Haitian’s main prison for the month of March. The water truck is entering the main prison gate above.
The prison warden called local Baptist pastor and OGQ coordinator Yousvel Lormeus to express his appreciation for the water by saying, “It’s thanks to this water subvention that they don’t encounter any cases of cholera these days among the prisoners.”
Not only is Operation Go Quickly helping prevent disease and satisfying thirst, but now our ministry team can visit the inmates anytime to share the Living Water.
We are praying for the funds to provide this water delivery for the remainder of the year. $120 x 9 months = $1080. This is an incredible opportunity to help two groups of the “least of these” mentioned in Matthew 25 – the thirsty and the prisoners.
