Dr. Fred Sorrells, Francillon Chery and Don Bristow were interviewed by Neita Fran Ward during the live radio program Art Connection on Saturday, September 9.
Topics included art as a therapeutic recreation, with Francillon’s story being a great example of using painting to relieve phantom pain following amputation.
This was the second time this trio was interviewed on live radio. The first interview took place in July, 2014, in Wheeling, WV, prior to an exhibit named Art for Mobility – A Gathering of Artists and Advocates.
Neita Fran Ward, Executive Director and Host of Art Connection, and owner of Valerosa Designs & Gallery in Tyler, TX, invited Francillon Chery to exhibit his work at her gallery.
Operation Go Quickly appreciates Neita Fran’s tremendous support!
